what you'll do

Join Adelaide-based multidisciplinary artist Shirley Wu for this fun, beginner-friendly class. You will be introduced to the magic of transforming silver-clay paper into a stunning pendant or pair of earrings.

You'll learn how to handle and creatively shape your silver-clay paper using traditional origami techniques combined with other fun innovative methods. By the end of the session, you'll walk away with a unique, personal pendant or pair of earrings that’s ready to wear or gift to someone special.

This is NOT an origami lesson – prior knowledge of simple origami folds is helpful but not required.

The workshop includes on-site firing and polishing, with the finishing process taking approximately 2-3 hours. After the 2.5-hour making session, you can take a break and return later to collect your beautifully polished ring.
